Our Legacy
Cadet College Kohat (CCK) was established in 1964 to honor the military services of the people in the region. The vision for the college was conceived by Mr. Fateh Khan Bandial, the then Deputy Commissioner of Kohat, who proposed the idea of creating an institution dedicated to producing disciplined, well-educated cadets with strong leadership potential. His request was supported by Malik Amir Mohammad Khan, the then Governor of West Pakistan, who authorized the establishment of the college.
On April 19, 1964, Malik Amir Mohammad Khan laid the foundation stone of CCK on 144 acres of land, setting the stage for a pioneering educational institution. The first batch of 58 cadets began their academic journey in April 1965, with Jinnah House being the first residential house. The vision of a nurturing educational environment was brought to life by the Founder Principal, Lt Col Faizullah Khattak (Retd), whose leadership set the foundation for CCK's long-standing reputation for excellence.
